Woots!~ I'm back from band camp. Haha. Not that it's a good thing actually, cos I'm not really looking forward to doing my homework. BLEAGH.
Let's see what I've got...
1) C Maths Worksheet
2) IHS Roleplay
3) Physics Quiz 4
4) A Maths Ex 16.2
5) A Maths Midyear 2005
6) 甜点 1-5
7) 应用文
8) 5 剪报
On a much lighter tone...band camp was pretty alright. Went to school on friday night to have dinner with Dwayne, Bevan, Oliver, Ryann, Ernest Soh, Ernest Tan, and Daryl at BK Holland V. Had meeting with the committee after we got back from dinner. And we had fun splitting straws. Hmm... =X
First day of camp...was pretty much a normal Sat practice in the morning, just that we had combined rehearsal with ACJC in the afternoon. It was definitely nice to see these people again.
* PLAYING HARP FOR PHANTOM IS REAL STRESSFUL *
I'm thankful that there'll be 3 harpists. Haha. I feel less vulnerable.
Speaking of which...I've sold all my tickets for MUSE already. Can't wait for April 1st to come...Haha...
After our combined, we had dinner. Then, we headed down to Night Safari. Left Night Safari at about 11 pm and got to The Cathay to catch Dreamgirls at midnight. The show was alright, but Beyonce's voice was absolutely fabulous. That lady can really sing very well. And now, the song "Listen" is etched in my head. The movie ended at about 2 am, and we went to Jurong Fish Port. After touring the fish port, we left for Macs at West Coast Park. We got back to school at about 5.30 in the morning. Took a bathe...then went to sleep...and woke up at 12 noon.
Next few days were pretty tiring. Practice, practice, and practice...Chorale & Shaker Dance, Night Safari and Variations on a Korean Folk Song. Yes, it was pretty much these 3 pieces for Main Band. Then, the percs got pulled into IB Band for Ghost Train Mvt 2 & 3. It was fun...I guess...that's all I can say. Haha. BTW...I think this batch of Exco is most clique-ish and bitchiest ever. HAHA. =X
Well, I guess the band's sound has got better, but I don't think we're still there yet. Hopefully we'll make it in time, and get Top Band. There are actually traces of "tien yin" here and there =D . We're almost there guys...for those who didn't make it to the SYF Band just as yet. Don't give up, it's not over. It's not too late yet. One thing's for sure though, the road to SYF is not gonna be easy...so practice hard and hang in there guys. We're gonna get Top Band!
...but words will never hurt me; 7:59 PM.
