Hmm...this should be a rather interesting post with an amalgamation of many feelings and emotions. (Don't ask me why I'm using big words please...I just felt like using it. So please excuse me.)
Gosh!...I'm actually feeling very uneasy about certain stuff now...anyway...here goes...
Well...the past two days were a blast for me. It was just fun, fun...and more fun. Well, eventually I decided to go for the ACJC Band chalet, after some "drama". And I met Da, Puaybs, Bi Ze, and some of the IB Band people at Buona Vista MRT Station at 2 pm, then we headed down to Pasir Ris MRT to meet the other fellas.
When we got to the chalet, we began mahjong-ing...YEAH!!! LOL...the others were playing bridge, and some were playing sardine. It was raining non-stop, but nonetheless it didn't stop us from having the BBQ, nor did it dampen our spirits. Frankly speaking, I didn't really eat much during the BBQ. Probably I wasn't really hungry. Although we were out of the rain...many of us still got wet. Haha...well it was quite fun getting dunked into the swimming pool actually. And many of us thought Evelyn really cried when she got dunked, apparently it was just an act...LOL...YES. Anyways, she got dunked a second time...and she really deserved it...HAHAHA.
Then, Bel, Kris and I decided to walk to Downtown East, and I've got Sam to thank for lending me his slippers. LOL.
THANKS!! Well, our convo during the stroll was undeniably quite scary. Nonetheless...I think the 3 of us do get along quite well, and SHOULD become Bitch Buddies. LOL...Thanks to my negative influence...(or so the both of them said) =)
When we were back at the chalet...me, Da, Ah Sa, Bel and Kris were getting entertained by Joel's jokes (the equivalent of breathing gym...HAHA!!) Joel is seriously damn cool and funny. LOL, we laughed till our stomach and jaws began to hurt. It was seriously painful...but seriously speaking, we couldn't really help but laugh at his jokes.
Much later, Joel told us something which really did freak me out. And the entire group of us decided to come together and pray. I was actually still quite freaked out, but Joel's two words reassured me a lot -
Have faith.
(Thanks, Joel...it really did help) =)On a much lighter note, we had 5 people on a bed. LOL, and there was me, Kris, Bi Ze, Bel, and Nabi.
The next day (29th Dec) , we walked to Downtown East at 7 in the morning to have breakfast at Macs. After breakfast, a few of us decided to have a game of tennis, and we lost 1 of Da's tennis balls. LOL =X
Me, Nabi, Kris, Jas, and Bel went to Escape after the tennis game, and we had tons of fun go-carting, and also on the other rides...like the Wall's Revolution, Viking, Log Ride, Rainbow, Red Baron...etc
Sad to say, I felt quite emotional about the second half of the second day, even when I'm typing this now, I do still feel quite emotional. Me, Jas, Kris and Bel bought cup noodles for lunch and had Pokka Honey Lemon Green Tea as well. Although, it was a simple lunch, I'd say it was definitely a very meaningful one. It was really quite sad as it seemed like the last time we're gonna have lunch together this year. After lunch, me, Jas, Kris, and Bel went to the beach to have a chat...actually it's gossip and bitch...HAHA, and the breeze was just great.
Time flies especially when you're enjoying it, and all good things come to an end. Me, Bel, Nabi, Jas, and Bi Ze decided to leave at 6 pm. It was a pretty emotional moment for me as I was packing up, and the reality has just hit me that the holidays are coming to an end...and school is reopening. I guess I'll really miss the times spent with the ACJC Band during this year-end holidays. And I am really thankful for the invitation to the ACJC Band Chalet.
THANKS GUYS...I'LL MISS YOU ALL
Well...after talking to Bel over MSN...I feel less uneasy and am pretty much better now.
Thanks Bel!!!Psalms 91
1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 They say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust."
3 Surely he will save you
from the fowler's snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5 You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 If you say, "The LORD is my refuge,"
and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10 no harm will overtake you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14 "Because they love me," says the LORD, "I will rescue them;
I will protect them, for they acknowledge my name.
15 They will call on me, and I will answer them;
I will be with them in trouble,
I will deliver them and honor them.
16 With long life I will satisfy them
and show them my salvation."
...but words will never hurt me; 10:13 PM.
