Heyas...I think I'm gonna fall sick soon...my throat's feeling sore. Anyway, just got back from dinner at Holland V with my family. Before I begin summing up the entire 2006, I'd like to thank Kristen for the Christmas card. Lol, yea...I kinda forgot to thank her in the previous post...so yea. THANKS!! By the way, I liked the p/s...heh...WL has good taste la. That's all I can say. Ok...ok...I shall stop being egotistical. =)))
Anyway, I was just talking to Zhong earlier this afternoon, and it seems like I've finally come to terms with school reopening. I guess school can be quite exciting as well...I guess I'm kinda geared up for 2007. So...BRING IT ON!!!~~
Okay...so 2006 has been awesome for me...although it wasn't a pretty smooth ride academically, but I'm happy to say that my social circle has widen. Woots!!!~...Got to know some of my friends even more, what's more...I've made many new friends, who are seriously a blessing to me. I'm overwhelmed with gratitude, and I'm very thankful to have met them all.
2006 was busy busy busy...tons of work, assignments, "drama" in class/band, bitching, gossiping, and what not. Chiong-ing and pia-ing for exams, terms, assignments, OPs...well but I guess it's all good. =)...If not for my classmates and friends, I wouldn't have survived 2006.
I can vaguely remember OEP on the 2nd week of the first term. Yea...the trip to Kunming & Guiyang...celebrating Ted's birthday over there. Meeting earlier at the airport just to get a taste of Starbucks Coffee...mmm....all the memories...
Then there was AIMF in Sydney in June...and I got to perform in the Sydney Opera House...how cool is that?? It was a wonderful experience for me. Sydney Trip was fantabulous...what's more we got a GOLD!!! That place is gonna bring back lots of memories for me. If only we could turn back time...and if only I got to know the people from ACJC earlier...if only...if only
TKWO Workshop came along during the September holidays, that's when I got to know the ACJC guys...simply COOL peeps.
Year end holidays - First there was NCO Camp...yea...I came back tanned. What's new anyways??? And, I remember swopping maces during the POP with Pei Shi...HAHAHA...yala and I got suaned after that. =.= After POP, I treated Darrel and a few other ACJC peeps who came over to Ice Kacang ko-song at Adam Road Food Centre. LOL. (I still remember owing Da the dessert from last year) NCO Camp was a blast!!
Then, there were the many mahjong sessions at Zhi Wen's, and the helping out with tune-in gifts for ACJC, at Starbucks Holland V, to making friendship bands at Beauty World Macs...and back to making tune-in gifts at Sam's house. I remembered Zhi Wen and I rushing back home to catch ANTM Season Finale...HAHA...
Then there was prepartion for Lights, Camera, Action. I guess that's when I began getting closer to the ACJC peeps. Going out with Kris and Ah Sa after band pracs on Sats for dinner, and shopping/making concert gifts...looking forward to having practice with them during band camp...although logistics was HELL!!! Oh YES...and shopping for concert attire and the many KFC meals, with the company of two wonderful ladies....Kris and Ah Sa.....THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! 30th Nov, and 1st Dec came...incredible concert we had. CHEERS!!~~ (And also big THANK YOU to Nabi, Kris, Bel, Jas, Mel, Ah Sa, for the concert gifts)
Following which, there was a one week break...and I caught Happy Feet with Jas, Bel, and Ah Sa. Ah Sa was hitting me throughout the entire movie, and we shared Gelatissimo *drools* Tsk...Lol...Then we went to Bel's house for mahjong and papaya-ing (Da's fabulous recipe of papaya with milk, ice cream, and banana, sounds like a detox recipe to me..hmm...)
Sentosa outing came...it was so fun. Although I felt pretty awkward initially. Haha, Weiting and I decided to get lost in Vivo, by then I was officially Weiting's maid, Maria........................Sharapova (I added the Sharapova..ahah). We were walking around in Giant...and we decided to split the packet of vitagen between the both of us. And Bec was trying to locate us...hmm...Wats Ons. Well, she eventually did la...with Sam. LOL. I got suaned quite abit when I arrived at Siloso Beach by the J2s...but hey...it's all in the name of fun, laughter, peace and joy! Then, everyone was mobilised to search for Ken Koh's shirt at Siloso Beach, which was supposedly buried in the sand. Well, Eunarco found it..YAY!! But I think we kinda destroyed the beach. Hah! We shifted to Palawan Beach, and we played Captain's Ball along the shore. Then there were this huge floats at the end of Palawan Beach, and Zhen Rong and I decided to sneak in...well we managed to and even climbed up the huge float. We left Sentosa for dinner at Vivo...then we headed down to Dhoby Ghaut for pool. The place was rather sleazy...but who cares...we had fun. The night ended with supper, and later me, Nabi, Bel, and Weiting were trying to hail a cab at 12. We got SOOO high...we wanted to cartwheel across the road. Haha.
Hmm...let's see now...ooh yes and a few days after the Sentosa outing...some of the ACJC peeps came over to my house. We bowled, and Da is uber pro...I remember competing with Sam trying to get out of the zero streak...Haha..we lunched at Macs...and we played fuzzy wuzzy, and light reflects. They came over to my house for pool after lunch, then we played I Never in my room.
Jasmine's birthday came. And we got her Torto...the ginormous cuddalicious huge tortoise, which was bought in Mini Toons. Hope she liked it ;). Haha. Well, I learnt how to ice-skate on that day...thanks to my ice-skating shifus - Kris and Bel. THANKS!! We had lunch at KFC in Clementi...then we went over to the birthday girl's house. Following which, they came over to my house for tennis.
Bandfest period came...and I decided to meet Jas, Mel, Shuhuey, Kris, and Bel at Jurong Point for dinner on one of the evenings, after which I went over to Bel's house..Kris and Mel were there as well...and we were just gossiping the entire night away. Oooh by the way...Coco (Bel's dog) is uber cute.
Hmm...as the holidays seem to come to an end. ACJC Band Chalet came along. YAY!!~~ That's on the previous post, by the way.
Wowee...what a blast huh!? Well...as the saying goes...all's well that ends well. 2006 could not be awesome without all my friends out there.
THANK YOU ALL!! HAVE A HAPPY AND BLESSED NEW YEAR
2007 HERE WE COME!!!~
...but words will never hurt me; 9:34 PM.
